Stop Kiss
Embers Collective presents:
Stop Kiss
23-26 February 2022, 7:30pm
Pitt St Theatre, 78 Pitt St, Auckland City
by Diana Son, Directed by Rebekah Dack
It is with deep sadness that Embers Collective must cancel the final two performances of Stop Kiss.
One of our company members developed symptoms of COVID-19 this morning (Friday 25 Feb), and has returned a positive rapid antigen test. For the safety of our audiences, cast and crew, we cannot continue to perform.
All audience members who attended on Wednesday 23rd and Thursday 24th are considered close contacts and will be contacted shortly. Phase three of the Red Light setting requires close contacts to monitor for symptoms for the next 10 days and get tested if any symptoms begin to brew, you do not have to isolate.
If you have any questions, please feel free to email us and we will do our best to help you - emberscollective@gmail.com
All ticket holders for the 25th and 26th February will be entitled to a refund. The incredible iTicket team will be in touch.
We are extremely grateful for all of you who have supported our mahi at a time when the arts are in much need of support. To have shared two performances of this beautiful show with some of you was such a blessing.
Please continue to look after yourselves and your whānau by following health guidelines, and official COVID-19 government advice.
The magic of theatre will prevail, and we’re sure we’ll be able to share more shows with you in the future.

A love story that will kick you in the guts...& when you’re down, the back & the head until you’re in a coma.
As Callie and Sara navigate their feelings for one another, they find themselves walking together through the city.
They share their first kiss. It’s new. It’s exciting.
The moment is shattered as they unknowingly provoke a violent queer phobic attack, altering their lives forever.
"… irresistibly exciting… a sweet, sad, and enchantingly sincere play." - NY Times
